Reserve Your Spot for Summer 2016

July 10-19, 2016
The Peru summer work serve takes you to the picturesque city of Cusco. From there you will travel about an hour into the Andes to the town of Calca. There, you will spend seven days immersed in Peruvian culture volunteering along side the native Quechua and learning at the Apulaya Andean Cultural Center.   You’ll spend your days connecting with the people of Peru and learning about a culture that is rich in nature, color and spirit.

On weekends, spend time with your fellow volunteers exploring the natural beauty of the surrounding areas. Email us for a trip itinerary volunteer@unitedservicecorps.org.

Right now there is one session with 10 8 spots available. If it fills, we will be additional travel dates.

We strive to keep costs as low as possible for volunteers and the program fees include the following:

  • Local transportation once in the host country.
  • All lodging and meals.
  • Planned weekend excursion.
  • Administrative, planning and pre-trip training costs.
  • Fundraising support.

Fees do not include:

  • Airfare
  • Personal spending for gifts, personal items, or snacks
  • Passport fees

We require a $100.00 non-refundable application fee and deposit to secure your volunteer spot. The deposit will be credited toward final trip fees. The first fifty percent of the remaining balance will be collected 2 months before the departure and the final fifty percent payment will be due thirty days prior to the trip departure date.

Payments will be refundable if a student gives a minimum thirty day cancellation notice prior to trip departure date. Anything less than thirty days prior to the trip we will not be able to refund the full trip fees since airfare and lodging will have been booked by this date.
